New and Expanded Roles for MRN and RMC Editorial Staff

For more than 85 years modelers have counted on Railroad Model Craftsman to provide inspiring how-to build projects and visits to model railroad layouts, as well as to provide news and reviews of products. Associate Editor Harry K. Wong expands his duties beginning with December 2018’s edition to include bringing readers new product announcements and overseeing product reviews in the publication’s “Receiving Yard,” “Railbooks,” and “Test Track” sections.

If you would like your product considered for news coverage in Railroad Model Craftsman’s “Receiving Yard” or “Railbooks” sections, you may contact news@rrmodelcraftsman.com. To discuss product reviews, manufacturers with products and those interested in participating in the review writing process, you may contact Harry K. Wong at hkwong@rrmodelcraftsman.com. To provide products for possible use in the publication, please send samples to: Railroad Model Craftsman, 6324 N. Chatham Ave., Box 117, Kansas City, MO 64151-2473.

For nearly a quarter century Model Railroad News has been a go-to source for the latest hobby news and product reviews. Long-time contributor David Otte now serves the publication as Associate Editor. In addition to David’s informative and in-depth product reviews, he now joins Editor Tony Cook in planning and management of the magazine’s content. Tony Lucio, currently co-editor of White River’s HO Collector quarterly, now serves as MRN’s Contributing Editor. At 21 years old, Shane T. Mason becomes one of the youngest individuals to serve on the staff of a monthly model railroad publication as Assistant Editor. Shane’s work has appeared in the pages of MRN during the past two years, and his knowledge of electronics and interest in N scale will enhance news and review coverage going forward for the magazine. “These changes will help keep Model Railroad News on target for its mission of supplying the latest news and the best reviews as the publication begins its celebration of 25 years in the hobby,” said Editor Tony Cook.

If you would like your product considered for news coverage in MRN, you may contact news@modelrailroadnews.com.
