Arrowhead Models will make its debut this summer with the shipment of its first yet-to-be-announced HO-scale freight car offering. The model will be made available through their initial network of hobby dealers, as well as direct sales from their web site. You’ll see images of the first Arrowhead Models offering and specifics on its details, road names, and more in a future edition of Model Railroad News.
The new company is owned and operated by Blaine Hadfield. A life-long model railroader, Hadfield models a section of Union Pacific’s Caliente Subdivision between Caliente, Nevada, and Modena, Utah, set in the years from 1972 to 1984. He is also is the organizer of the Mountain States Railway Prototype Modelers Meet. Additionally, Blaine is the author of railroad-related articles published in historical society magazines, and has been the keynote speaker at historical society conventions and RPM events.
