KV Models expands its etched-metal details for use on HO-scale Electro-Motive Division (EMD) cab unit models. KV Models’ EMD F-unit Cover Plates set includes several multiple-unit (MU) plates. In their later years, railroads seeking to consist several locomotives installed MU connections (generally placed on the nose near the headlight and number boards). As these features vary on size, style, and placement on prototypes, this detail is frequently not depicted on HO models. KV Models provides more than a dozen thin metal MU plates for installation (as shown above on the Amtrak FL9 model) with its new release.
