Trainworx will have a new production of Flexi-Van trailers available in N scale in the near future. The innovative prototypes first saw use in North American transportation in the 1960s. The goal was trailer that could be easily switched between riding on a special-design flatcar (also soon to be available from Trainworx) over to bogie-equipped and hauled away to its destination by truck. The new collection includes Burlington, Illinois Central, The Milwaukee Road, New York Central, and Southern Railway. Multiple schemes and trailer numbers are available.

These $21.95 Flexi-Van trailers can be paired with Trainworx’s N-scale Mark III (wide-spaced trucks) and Mark IV (shorter truck wheelbase) version flatcars. The assembled flatcars (MSRP: $30.95) come in matching road names to the trailers.
