Southern Pacific 4-6-2 from Sunset Models in HO
Sunset’s Legends series launches with Southern Pacific’s P-8 and P-10 class 4-6-2 Pacific-type steam locomotives. Three versions are included in the announcement: P-8 No. 2467, P-10 No. 2487, and Daylight scheme P-10 No. 2485.

New Hybrid “Yellowbelly” Hudson from Broadway Limited in HO
In 1946, the C&O took five of its Class F-19 Pacific 4-6-2 locomotives and converted them into Class L-1 Hudsons. These limited edition HO scale hybrid models will be available from Broadway Limited, expected November 2016.

Walthers Proto GP35 in HO scale due early 2017
Six road names will come in the first release: Burlington Northern, Chesapeake & Ohio, Erie Lackawanna, The Milwaukee Road, Santa Fe, and Southern Pacific. This all-new model will include road-specific details on its shell and will come equipped with a five-pole, skew-wound, high-torque, and high-efficiency can motor with flywheel.

Menards adds freight cars to O-gauge line
Menards recently introduced a tank car and hopper car to its collection of O-gauge trains. The tank car is a threedome example consisting of a sturdy molded plastic tank screw-mounted to its plastic frame. The new Menards hopper car is a fourbay open example with coal load.
