Tangent Scale Models returns to its popular 86-foot excess-height Greenville high cube for a new production. The collection of replicas includes six new road names and three returning road names from the original 2020 release. The additions to Tangent’s high cube collection include Baltimore & Ohio (as-delivered 1969); Chicago, Burlington & Quincy (1969s pre-BN green livery); Erie Lackawanna (as-delivered 1965); Missouri Pacific and Penn Central (both in 1968 delivery schemes); and Wabash (in 1965 version showing the as-delivered 1964 car with running boards removed). The 1990s era Conrail with “Quality” lettering is back with a rerun of the same road numbers as offered previously. Also returning, but with new road numbers Tangent offers its blue Detroit, Toledo & Ironton high cube in 1971 as-delivered look, and Southern Railway (1977 as-delivered). This finely detailed offering rides on 70- or 100-ton wheels, depending on the prototype, and each release possesses one of three body styles, four brake styles, four draft gear combinations, and three underframe styles. These HO-scale 86-foot high cube replicas are a limited production release and available direct from Tangent Scale Models online, and via its network of hobby dealers. .
