Peco’s latest Streamline-series Code 83 turnouts for HO scale use include a re-engineered design. Peco’s No. 6 turnout now comes in a Unifrog format with features of Insulfrog and Electrofrog combined in a single release.
The frog point is “dead” in this version and performs like Peco’s past Insulfrog release. You can connect the pre-welded frog point or tip to a separately sold switch machine and power the frog, as previously done with Electrofrog turnouts. Peco notes the turnout comes with a one-piece machined point blade for enhance appearance.
In addition to new No 6 right hand (SL-U8361) and left hand (SL-U8362) Unifrong turnouts with Code 83 rail height, Peco is adding No. 6 turnouts with Code 70 rail and a No. 8 with Code 83 rail. Check with your hobby dealer for pricing and availability.
