Rapido Trains’ much-anticipated N-scale version of The Canadian passenger train is arriving. The train began operation by Canadian Pacific in April, 1955, was served as the railway’s flagship transcontinental passenger service connecting Montreal and Toronto in the east with Vancouver in the west. In 1978, The Canadian became a VIA Rail Canada operation.

Rapido Trains presents this famous train with high quality N-scale releases, which present several body styles and liveries. The impressive slipcase package contains a pair of book-like inner cases containing 10-car set releases. In addition, Rapido Trains offers 3-pack Prestige Class releases. You can also find single “Skyline” dome car releases.

The models come fully assembled and feature an assortment of separately applied details, including wire grab irons, flush-fitting clear window sections with simulated black gasket frames, accurate end diaphragms, separate name plates on car sides, and a wealth of underbody items.

This series of models is a limited run, check with Rapido Trains or your hobby dealer for availability. Due later this year, Rapido Trains will offer appropriate motive power in the form of Canadian Pacific FP9s and VIA Rail Canada F40PH-2D diesel locomotives in N scale.
