All About GEVOs with ScaleTrains.com

HO ScaleScaleTrains.com announces its HO-scale General Electric GEVO will see a new production with Rivet Counter offerings. For this collection of highly detailed diesel locomotive models, ScaleTrains.com will offer contemporary editions of select Norfolk Southern Heritage units (Interstate Railroad, Norfolk Southern Original, Pennsylvania Railroad, and Southern Railway). These NS examples will include current details found on these popular roster members. Regular livery Norfolk Southern GEVOs with current PTC antenna details will also be offered. Other road names in this release will include Canadian Pacific (regular livery and “Lord Strathcona’s Horse” emblem 8939 unit), Citirail, Ferromex (original red, white, and green livery and new “Zebra” red, white, and gray scheme), and Union Pacific (“Building America” decoration in multiple road numbers and the special 5,000th ES44 unit with blue GE emblem and banners).

These coming HO-scale Rivet Counter GEVOs are planned for delivery in late March 2022. Don’t forget, ScaleTrains.com also has multiple road numbers coming featuring BNSF’s 25th Anniversary version of the road’s Heritage III livery. Those BNSF ES44AC models are expected in February 2022, just before this second run release arrives.
The models will all include road-accurate attributes and will be offered in a standard DC version (equipped with a 21-pin socket for conversion to digital operation) and a Digitial Command Control release featuring ESU’s LokSound 5 electronics with “Full Throttle” system, twin PowerPack capacitors, dual cube-type speakers, and authentic GEVO-12 prime mover audio files.
